Hello 2008 (Part1)

Helo....i am update the blog again...Actually i had plan to make a summery for my job life before 2008 coming but abit busy to finish up my project so extend untill now....So the project had done and it a time for me to write down something here in this moody night(wpf)

Actually ...time passing very fast..alot of my personal thing set to be done in 2007 is cancel due to my current job. But it was good that i had finish a single game project within 2007.It can consider a new explore for me in this game project and a good chance to get me into the online game development after join my current company.

One of the changing in the local game industry is most of the game company had located at KL Sentral. Codemaster, JGGame, Gamebrains(soon will be in from some gosip), and Activate(my current company) had setup their office in Plaza Sentral. Another side, Sherman3D studio seem dong quite good on involve in NDS game project(Drawn To Life) by doing the game art for 5thcell.For Ozura,seem 90% of my previous partner had move to new place already...the website had seldom saw the update anymore...good luck for them.Another side the Macera had develops some of java mobile game which base on the local comic title.It actually a nice trial to take comic as the theme to create a game for it. There had group of comic fan will look forward on those games. But for java game, it had limit to expand the gameplay cause the hardware and non-standard of mobilephone. Just comic game is working good in PC games/Online games. I haven't got chance to know some of people in Macera,hope got chance to know them.The Hatchlings Games is a new startup from mmu graduate and they are looking good on developing the card games(Quasr?) .But seldom saw the update recently in their website too. No sure what happen inside. Still keep tracking their developments blogs site. There was lack active of local game forum compare previous mgdc old forum. The new mgdc forum seem nobody had do some discussion and sharing anything there.So there was only IGDA Malaysia forum to keep track for local game dev.

So it no too bad for local game industry for 2007 as there still go few place for anyone who interesting join themselves in this hell.(lol). But the opportunity is come from those hell place,who know.
